Discord bot and Minecraft server error fixes

2 min readUpdated Nov 3, 2026

Find the error you see in your console or game, then open its fix. Each guide shows the exact message, why it happens and the steps to solve it.

Start your server, open the Console and copy the last red lines. Search this page for a few words from it (Ctrl+F or "Find in page" on a phone). Remove your bot token from anything you paste anywhere.

Discord bot errors #

For discord.py 2.x and discord.js v14 bots.

Minecraft server errors #

How to read an error #

  1. Read the last error, not the first. Later lines are usually the real cause; earlier ones are often warnings.
  2. Look for a code. Discord errors carry a number like 50013 or 10008; these match Discord's own error code list and the pages above.
  3. Look for a name. Minecraft crashes and thread dumps usually name the plugin or mod in a package name such as com.example.plugin.
  4. Change one thing, then restart. It's the fastest way to know what fixed it.
  5. Note the versions. Your library version (discord.py, discord.js) or Minecraft and loader version decides which fix applies, so include them when you ask for help.

FAQ #

Where do I see my bot's or server's errors on ESN?

On the Console page of your server in the panel. Minecraft servers also keep older logs in the logs folder and crash details in crash-reports, both in Files.

My error isn't listed. What should I do?

Check Common Discord bot errors or Troubleshooting, run /botfix in the ESN Systems Discord, or open a ticket with the last 20 console lines.

Should I post my whole console in Discord?

Post the last 20 or so lines, and remove your bot token, passwords and IP addresses you want to keep private first.

Do these fixes only work on ESN?

The fixes work wherever your bot or server runs. Each guide also has an ESN section that says where to find the console, files and startup settings in the panel.
